Exploring the Mysteries of Stone Effigies in New England: A Historical and Cultural Perspective

Stone effigies of New England have been an important part of Native American culture throughout history. Existing tribal enitities as well as emerging tribal entities reclaiming their land bases are rediscovering where these ceremonial structures are and seeking to put best pracetices in place for protecting these important parts of Native American culture and history.
